About GitHub Campus Expert Program
GitHub is looking for energetic and students who are interested for its Campus Expert Program 2021. In this program, students will get to learn the skills to build and to grow in diverse technology communities on campus with training, mentorship, and support from GitHub experts.
Process of Selection
- * Get the GitHub Student Developer Pack
- * Complete the application form
- * Submit a video resume
- * Training of 6 weeks GitHub Campus Experts
- * Submitting a community proposal on completion of training
- * Become a GitHub Campus Expert
Eligibility
- * Any student having GitHub Student Developer Pack is eligible to apply for this program.
- * Students from all backgrounds are eligible to apply.
- * Applicant must be at least 18 years of age.
- * Applicant must have a validated status through the GitHub Student Developer Pack.
- * Applicant must be enrolled in a post-secondary formal education institution.
- * Applicant must have more than one year left as a student before completion of graduation.
Responsibilities
- * Interacting and collaborating with the student community leaders.
- * Organizing various technical events in your campus
- * Learning the best practices of community with training from GitHub.
- * Attend GitHub conferences
Application’s Timing
Applications for this program opens twice a year, in the month of February and August. The application remains are opened for a month and students can apply once every application cycle.
