Hello Everyone! Welcome to my blog. Today I am back with another post for you and this post is to inform you that ISRO has launched a free course on Usefulness of Remote Sensing & GIS for Environmental Studies. You will get a certificate from ISRO on successful completion of the course.
About Course
The course is made in order to engage secondary and higher secondary students so as to create awareness about the Remote Sensing Technology & its use for mother planet Earth studies and its environment through the informative lectures and its demonstration. Remote sensing and Geographic Information System technology are very important tools in order to understand the vast environment.
Providing the knowledge of satellite data utilization with the help of Geographic Information System and image processing software in environmental science has a vast scope as it helps the students to understand the importance of remote sensing.
Course duration and structure
Course duration - will be from July 26 to July 30, 2021
Online session will be conducted each day which will be followed by an interactive session.
Last Date for course registration is 20th July 2021.
Limited seats are available for registration so registration will be done on first come, first serve basis.
The course from ISRO is available for free for everyone.
Certification
Certificate from ISRO will be given to participants on successful completion of the course. Participants should pass the quiz with atleast 55% of score in order to recieve the certificate.
