Description
Amazon is looking for a talented, energetic and highly passionate Software Engineer candidates having image processing and computer vision experience. The candidate will be addded to a part of strong, high performing team which is building a computer vision platform to enrich user experience.
Basic Qualifications
- Candidate should have the programming experience with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C#, etc.
- Candidate should be doing Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science or Engineering or related field.
- Candidate should have and excellent problem solving skills.
- Candidate must possess an extremely sound understanding of areas in the basic areas of Computer Science icluding Algorithms, Data Structures, Object Oriented Design, Databases, etc.
Preferred Qualifications
- Candidates having strong, object-oriented design and coding skills.
- Candidate should have the knowledge of Perl or other scripting languages
- Candidate must have the experience in optimization mathematics uch as linear programming, nonlinear optimization.
- Candidate must have the ability to effectively communicate technical challenges and solutions
Your work as intern
- Candidate will have to find robust solutions to some of the challenging text/image detection and recognition problems in the computer vision and should include in continuously improving performance of existing algorithms.
- Candidate will be involved in extensive research and problem solving that compass a number of areas which includes computer vision, machine learning, image processing, distributed and mobile computing.
- Candidates will maintain substantial knowledge of state-of-the-art principles and theories which are related to computer vision and also they will participate in the development of intellectual property.
- They will serve as Developer in vision area and work closely with the other research engineers, software engineers, product managers and QA personnel in order to create high quality and highly performing solutions.
- Everyone in the team needs to be entrepreneurial, wear many hats and will have to work in a highly collaborative environment that’s more start-up than big company.
