Job Description
The Interns will be responsible for configuring and testing the Wipro proprietary Total Benefit Administration (TBA) System to meet the required needs of their clients’ as per their requirements.
Configuring involves using the proprietary systems and tools to set up & configure the tables/parameters in the TBA System defined by analysis.
Testing involves the preparation of test cases and proper test data and also the execution of test activities based on the direction given by the SA.
BTech (any specialization), BCA, MCA is preferred.
This role of candidates are designed as an entry-level position with strong skill sets in programming such as logical reasoning, analytical skills ,systems configuration and testing related to systems that support the human resource functions.
Locations: Chennai, India
Responsibilities-
- Candidate should have Technical / Domain knowledge, System Development and Quality Assurance, Ongoing task Management – 80%.
- Communication: candidate should actively participate in all the huddles/meetings, effective communication using Maestro / Mail, Lync, client team touch base - 10%
- candidate will be required to focus on continuous improvement and other client/organization initiatives – 5%.
Roles-
- candidates will be required to review the clients requirement documents and any other preliminary test plans, rightly adhere to the due dates.
- Identifies needed test cases
- Completes test plans with test case needs
- Configures the system to meet analysis specifications.
- Documents relevant configuration in analysis specifications.
- Candidate should have proper knowledge of sSftware Development Life Cycle (SDLC) principles and/or concepts.
- Experience with systems implementations
- Writes intermediate SQL queries.
